- PRESS-FIT BB COVERAGE: Includes drifts for common press-fit bottom bracket standards, including BB30, PF30, PF30A, BB86 and BB92. The system supports compatible 30mm and 24mm spindle configurations and other current press-fit systems using the supplied drift dimensions.
- SIMULTANEOUS INSTALLATION: The press rod centers a drift on each side of the bottom bracket shell and draws both sides inward together. Installing the bearings or cups at matched depth helps keep them square to one another and reduces the risk of a cocked installation.
- CORRECT LOAD PLACEMENT: Each drift is sized to apply pressure to the bearing’s outer race or the appropriate cup surface rather than the seal, cage or inner race. Directing the load through the proper surface helps prevent bearing damage before the bicycle leaves the workstand.
- STEEL PRESS COMPONENTS: The press rod and drifts are made from premium flex plus carbon steel with a chrome-plated finish. The construction provides the strength required to draw press-fit components into the frame shell using steady mechanical pressure rather than impact tools
